Welcome to the Worthing Tuesday Embroiderers Guild.
Would you like to take up stitching? Already stitching and want to meet fellow-stitchers? You are warmly invited to come along to the Worthing Tuesday Embroiderers Guild.
- Friendly, non-competitive, welcoming group
- All levels, beginners to advanced
- Range of interests, from traditional to contemporary
- Meet like-minded people
- Explore new techniques
- Enjoy shared skills
- Interesting speakers
- Stitch in company
We meet on the second Tuesday of the month from 2.15 pm to 4pm, usually at Maybridge Keystone Centre, Raleigh Way, in Goring-by-Sea. We normally have a speaker, or sometimes a ‘sit and stitch in company’ session. We also meet on other dates for day-schools and workshops. You are welcome to visit up to 3 times as a guest before you join.
Worthing has two distinct but closely-related branches of the Embroiderers Guild. The Worthing Saturday branch also has a programme of speakers and workshops – you will find their details on the National Embroiders Guild website. Some members belong to both, or join one and attend the other occasionally as a guest.
Member of The Embroiderers Guild, a registered educational charity.
Many members are taking part in the 100 Hearts exhibition, to commemorate the end of the First World War. Please send a photo of your heart to Jane Robinson if you would like it to be included on the website.
